The first week assignment enlightened me to the ways of connecting courses' contents and apply earlier learning in developing teaching strategies. I chose one of the textbook's author Elizabeth Berkley statement about motivation and how educators need to individualize their motivation techniques. She concluded, “Understanding the complexities that underlie motivation can guide us in our efforts to set up conditions that enhance students' eagerness to learn.” p. 15. My interpretation of this statement lead me to go back to the lesson planning eight contents that I have talked about in my first journal just below this post on this page. I will continue to post any updates related to lesson planning and motivation techniques.
