At the beginning, I thought "-agogy" refers to "learning" not "leading" of which would make more sense to the academic world. In science and medicine, the suffix "-ology" refers to "a subject of study; a branch of knowledge." Anyways, It is a new learning experience and the new terms are all related to teaching and learning as long as we know that -agogy refers to learning.
Types of gogies that I know so far are:
1- Andragogy: the method and practice of teaching adult learners; adult education
2- Pedagogy: the method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept.
3- Heutagogy: is the study of self-determined learning.
4- Metagogy: is a way to blend aspects of both pedagogy and andragogy in a way that meets the needs of adult learners.
5- Peeragogy: peer-to-peer learning.
6- Geragogy: refers to the management of teaching and learning strategies where the target audience is older people.
7- Cypergogy: focuses on helping people to learn by facilitating technology to enable learner-centered learning in a virtual environment.
